I've been an avid gamer as long as I can remember.  Growing up I loved playing board games and right about the time I entered junior high I found Dungeons and Dragons.  This one game really had an impact on me growing up.  I would play DnD with friends any time and any where we could get together.  Around this time video games started becoming more popular and with home consoles and pc's my love for games grew and expanded even further.  If I couldn't get together with a group of friends I sat in front of a computer or console and just gamed the hours away.

I've played pretty much most of the consoles that have been released but a few of the more obscure ones from the early years.  My first home console was the Magnavox Odyssey 2 which I still have to this day.  I pretty much dumped all the money I could earn cutting grass in the summer days into buying video games.  My first home computer was the TI-994A which was an awesome little computer that really got me into my second hobby in life which is pc's.  When I was able to get the voice synthesizer for the TI it blew my mind that the games could do more then just simple beeps.  My next computer was a Commodore 64 and this one device is what made me want to work with computers for the rest of my life.  I don't think my parents will ever realize how much this computer really changed my life and pretty much solidified what I wanted to do for a living.
